Meet the Creator

We strive to create to beautiful forms that will invite people out of their mental busyness to see the timelessness in passing time. Human life, too, is a whirling dance of patterns within patterns.

I began making “lanterns” made of paper, wood, and polyvinyl resin after meeting the originator of this art form in Hawaii in 1976. They have since evolved into truly unique sculptural forms I now call “Lightsculptures.” By now I have created more than 1100 of them for homes, restaurants, hospitals, religious institutions, and businesses.
