Character and original features had been lacking in this Fashion Stylist client’s Victorian home. The objective for this project was to inject period styling into the living space in order to create the charm and elegance that the house rightfully deserved.

The ‘Blondie Room’ - a reclaimed Louis XV style carrara marble fireplace was specially sourced and takes centre stage. The Blondie print with Neon Atomic creates the ultimate focal point above - a striking contrast in colour to the walls (Farrow & Ball ‘Blackened’) and the perfect counterbalance to the period charm of the room.

The ‘Drawing Room’ - here decorative beading is applied to the walls to create graceful panelling. Farrow & Ball ‘Calamine’ painted walls create an airy contrast to the olive coloured ceiling which gives a rich, sumptuous effect to the room. Pastel shades are used as accents to the room, with the exception of the eye-catching curtain fabric (print designed by Pearl Lowe for Woodchip & Magnolia).

The Dining Room - a painted black ceiling with pin hole LED lighting creates a starry appearance, whilst the walls are papered with a beautiful floral design by Woodchip & Magnolia. The Rug (Anthropologie) placed under the wooden dining table finishes off the room adding yet more warmth and colour.

The Cloakroom - the tiled shelf, bowl sink, and brass tap continue the theme, offset by House of Hackney wallpaper and classic mirror.

Classic, original fireplaces were sourced for the project and a stylish herringbone wood floor installed throughout to add warmth and to complete the look.
