Sequenced elements of grand architectural statements

As a blueprint for domestic culture, the ’Gaggenau Home’ was built around an open-plan kitchen, placing the rituals of creating and sharing a meal at center stage. Grand architectural statements were deconstructed to create a space where appreciation of appliances, consideration for the culture of living and contemporary architecture coalesce.

Meet the Creator
1zu33 is an architectural studio working exclusively in the field of spatial brand communication. We make values visible in bespoke environments.

With spatial design as our native competence, we develop and implement retail concepts, scenographic experiences and exhibition design. For our proposals we create storylines, often rooted in cultural context. We reflect brand values in our choice of objects and materials, creating a multi-sensory stage.

Our Munich based studio houses a team of 25 architectural and interior designers, guided by founders Hendrik Müller and Georg Thiersch. We like to think of our studio as a family, and enjoy investing in long-term partnerships with our clients. Among which we count Gaggenau, Aesop, Occhio and Hansgrohe.

Our projects have won us some of the most relevant awards in the field of brand communication and we’ve recently been ranked among the top 50 agencies in the German creative industry.
