Horizon, Abstract wood wall art

I built this abstract piece to let your imagination tell you what you see and feel, it is what makes abstract pieces so interesting. For me this piece depicts a horizon landscape.
The species of wood used in this piece are Black walnut, White Oak, Maple, Douglas Fir, White Ash, Sycamore and 3 different species of exotic wood from Asia. All the wood has been reclaimed from different sources.
There is no stain on the wood, what you see is the natural color of each wood species which gives the piece its gradient look.
The entire piece has been sprayed with two coats of water based clear coat to protect the piece so there will never be any maintenance required for the life of the piece.
Feel free to contact me if you want a custom size like the one in the photos. Lead time is usually 4 to 6 weeks for a custom order.
Each art piece is hand signed and dated in the back and also has a custom made laser engraved wood name tag mounted on the side of the piece.
I also include a wood French cleat mounting bracket for easy wall installation.
