Ceramic Cup - Drinkware

These beautiful handmade cups are made of stoneware and thrown on the wheel. It is glazed in the inside with lead free glaze, and glazed on the outside with china clay slips, which will not fade. The tumbler is fired in the kiln at 1200·C. It is food safe, microwave safe and dishwasher safe.

Ceramic and pottery studio. I create beautiful objects made of clay that will make your home more cosy, personal and nicer.

I started to work with clay first as a hobby, and some 20 years ago I decided to create my own studio and to start to sell my ceramics and make a living of it. I mostly work with stoneware, especially when I make anything for the kitchen, like mugs, plates, jars... I make my own glazes, which are totally food safe, and I like to paint some nice, colourful, mostly abstract patterns on my pots with china clay slips. I work on the wheel, and with slabs as well. I also like to work with white clay to make compositions from handmade shiny and bright little tiles. In my studio I make as well any kind of personalised items.
