'Collective Sanctuary, Piece by Piece' was designed with a great deal of thought and planning for the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church in Arlington, MA. I was fortunate to attend the unveiling where an amazing and moving benediction was given by the minister. One of the special aspects of this project was the donation of mementos by members of the congregation, from a fragment from the Berlin Wall to a coin of an Egyptian asylum seeker to buttons saved from a parishioner's grandmother.
