This piece is intricately made using various pieces of wood cut in different lengths and depths to give the art piece a 3-dimensional look. This piece consists of 18 different painted colors and 5 natural wood tones. A special technique was used in the painting process to allow some transparency of the wood grain. This piece can only be appreciated in person, pictures do not do this piece justice.
2 coats of low VOC water-based sealer were applied to protect the piece and to give it a zero maintenance finish.
