Slow Burn captures the steady, unstoppable momentum of a quiet fire. Deep, architectural sweeps of raw umber frame a vast, open center, punctuated by intense strikes of burnt orange and bright orange-yellow that glow against a neutral background. The substantial weight of the dark, horizontal marks is softened by delicate, wandering oil pastel lines and fine atmospheric texturing, drawing the eye in slowly to reveal layers of dramatic warmth over time.
