Original mixed media painting on canvas24 × 36 inches Room to Wander is an exploration of space, movement and the beauty of leaving some things unresolved. A broad field of warm blush and dusty peach is interrupted by deep blue, forest green, ochre and unexpected flashes of brighter color. Loose drawn lines, scraped surfaces and layered gestures move across the canvas, revealing pieces of the painting's history beneath each new mark. There is both energy and quiet here. Dense passages gather along the edges while the open center gives the composition room to breathe, creating a painting that feels expressive and alive without overwhelming a space. Original mixed media on 24 × 36 inch gallery-wrapped canvas. Finished edges and ready to hang. One-of-a-kind original. Signed by the artist.

Wescover creator since 2026
I make art that feels collected, not decorated.

Carrie Song is a Texas-based artist creating original paintings and mixed-media works shaped by color, texture, memory, and the beauty of imperfection. Her work moves between expressive abstraction and loosely figurative subjects, with layered surfaces and intuitive marks giving each piece a sense of history and individuality.

Carrie creates art for spaces that feel personal and collected over time. From large-scale abstract works to her distinctive cowgirl series and smaller works on paper, each piece is made by hand and intended to bring character, warmth, and a little unexpectedness into a room. Original works and commissions are available for residential, hospitality, and design projects.
