A composition about living matter. A band of mirrored gold with ragged edges is stitched with cells - the skeleton of a sea sponge; inside the cells sit milky bubbles, like air caught in rock. It seems the structure is still growing on the wall.
The light is its breathing: it burns inside and comes out through the openings. By day it is a gold relief with milky inserts, tactile and complex. In the evening light leaves through the openings as warm patches and sharp gold highlights - the coral begins to glow by its pores.
