"New Mexico" is inspired by a trip through the state taking in the vast terracotta and clay tinted canyons and rustic landscape. It is a textured acrylic painting on heavyweight paper with collage pieces added. Layers of paint create texture while the stripes represent the stone layers in the landscape.

The quiet alchemy of organic form and contemporary balance.

My work explores natural forms through color, texture, gesture, and an intuitive sense of balance. I’m drawn to the imperfect, tactile qualities that give art a sense of warmth and individuality.

I live in Austin, Texas, where the desert landscape influences my palette and textures. Experiences from places I’ve called home—including upstate New York, California, Sonoma County, and Bali—continue to shape my work and my connection to the natural world.
