Seamlessly bridging centuries of imperial elegance with contemporary interior design, this Museum Edition Qing Dynasty Style Blue and White Nine-Dragon Gallbladder Vase is a masterclass in traditional Chinese porcelain artistry. Designed to serve as a profound visual anchor, its graceful, elongated silhouette and deep cobalt tones bring a sophisticated Oriental aesthetic that effortlessly elevates both modern Western living spaces and refined Eastern studies.
The Art of Reproduction & Lineage
This piece is born from a profound dedication to preserving heritage. Rooted in a family lineage descending directly from the official imperial kilns (Guan Yao) of the Song Dynasty, our co-designers Yuchen and Judy, alongside the master artisans, meticulously reproduce museum-level masterpieces. This specific vase is a faithful homage to esteemed imperial artifacts, capturing the supreme regal aesthetics of the classical era.
The Imperial Blue and White Craftsmanship
Historically reserved for the highest echelons of the imperial court, the art of high-temperature cobalt blue porcelain represents the zenith of ceramic mastery. Fired at temperatures exceeding 1,300°C using premium natural minerals and refined kaolin clay, the master painters employ classical fine-line drawing techniques. Through subtle variations in line thickness, ink intensity, and delicate shading, they achieve extraordinary depth, clarity, and a striking three-dimensional layering.
The Motif — Nine Dragons Raging in the Sea
The majestic body of the vase is an epic canvas depicting nine powerful five-clawed dragons surging through magnificent, swirling waves and turbulent oceans. Each dragon is rendered with dynamic tension and awe-inspiring vitality—symbolizing supreme power, auspicious fortune, and boundless prosperity. The layered waves below exude a profound sense of vastness and atmospheric grandeur, echoing the timeless philosophy of cosmic harmony.
