🌞 A sunburst you can set a cup of tea on
A round pedestal side table finished in a radiating sunburst of hand cut bone against a deep marigold ground. Each ray is cut, shaped and set by hand, then levelled and polished until the surface reads as one continuous plane with no ridge between bone and ground.
Bone inlay is most often seen in black and white florals. This piece takes the same craft in a different direction, a saturated marigold field with a geometric radial pattern, and it reads across a room the way a piece of sculpture does rather than the way furniture usually does.

The pedestal silhouette means no legs to work around, so it sits close to a sofa or slots into a corner where a four leg table cannot go.
The top is a full circle of pattern, so it becomes the piece in the room people notice first.
Marigold sits comfortably against green, navy, oxblood and plain white walls, which is unusual for a colour this saturated.

🪵 What it is made from
Buffalo bone, hand cut into individual rays and set into a solid hardwood carcass. The bone is a byproduct of the food industry. The marigold field is applied and hand polished flush with the bone so the whole surface finishes level.
Every ray on this table was cut, placed and polished by a person. The pattern is built into the piece rather than printed onto it.

We manufacture directly. That means we control the pattern, the colour and the finish from the first cut to the final polish, and it means we can build this table in a size or colourway that does not exist in our catalogue yet.

Fully insured and crated for freight. Assembly is not required, the table arrives as one piece.
