Invite the warmth of the "New Gilded Age" into your sanctuary. Golden Fiesta is a museum-grade wall sculpture that captures the vibrant, rhythmic energy of flourishing nature. Designed by metal artist Marc Staples, this exquisite work transforms the organic silhouette of the tobacco leaf into a spectacular focal point of Modern Luxury Artisanal Craftsmanship & The Sculptor’s Touch Golden Fiesta is a testament to the Art-in-Metal-Mediums movement, where every detail is a result of intentional, artisanal labor. The Tobacco Leaf Narrative: Inspired by the lush, rounded foliage of tobacco plants, the sweeping asymmetrical form creates a sense of "wing-like" abundance. Hand-Hammered Depth: Each individual leaf is meticulously hand-forged from professional-grade steel. The surface features deep, hand-hammered textures that provide a tactile richness unattainable by mass production. Gilded Luminous Glow: Featuring a proprietary, hand-applied gold finish, the sculpture acts as a light-harvesting instrument. It reflects ambient light with a soft, rich luminosity that evolves beautifully as the day turns to evening. Architectural Impact & Placement With a commanding 40-inch width and a 3-inch three-dimensional projection, Golden Fiesta is engineered to anchor large-scale architectural spaces. Focal Point Utility: Ideal for placement above a sofa, mantle, or console, it creates a cinematic atmosphere in modern, transitional, and "Warm Minimalist" interiors. Biophilic Connection: The organic, radiating lines foster a sense of calm and natural flourishing, aligning with the 2026 Biophilic Design movement. Original metal art formed and finished by hand from raw steel, bronze, and heat-fused patinas in our Virginia studio.

Lago Luna Studio is a fine art and dimensional metal studio founded by third-generation artist and sculptor Marc Staples, based in Buffalo Junction, Virginia. With a fine art practice spanning over three and a half decades, the studio explores the synthesis of nature, geometry, and architectural resonance—creating "architectural jewelry" and statement metalworks for modern interior and exterior spaces.

Marc's foundation in fine art was forged under the guidance of two twentieth-century masters: studying color theory and composition under painter Donald McAdoo, and later refining concepts of three-dimensional form, dynamic scale, and site-specific placement under sculptor Joseph Kinnebrew. A pioneer in high-end physical and digital media, Marc founded Richmond’s Heritage Giclee® Studio in 1996, where his deep command of color science became the technical backbone for his signature multi-layer patinas.

Today, Lago Luna Studio pioneers the Art-in-Metal movement, blending painterly intuition with structural fabrication. Every sculpture begins as raw steel, bronze, and copper—cut, hand-formed, acoustic-tuned, and finished with proprietary heat-fused and chemical patinas. Rejecting mass production, each work is an original, soulful artifact crafted direct from the Virginia studio. Available works and bespoke architectural commissions can be explored at lagoluna.com.
