We got this beautiful terracotta color through our experimenting this year, and all through nature! This organic cotton tablecloth's long journey starts from farmers who grow organic cotton. The cotton is then spun into thread and then woven by hand on a handloom. Once the fabric is ready, it is hand block printed with a mud resist by an old traditional technique called Dabu. Dabu translates to "pressing". Where ever the mud resist is pressed, the dye doesn't go on it. Through this process of printing and re-printing and natural dyeing - we got such beautiful colors of pink, light green, and terracotta. It's a long journey that we thoroughly enjoyed and one we would never forget.
