Beauty after the colour is removed.We normally recognise a butterfly through colour, pattern and delicacy.EXPOSED removes almost all of that.What remains is structure — symmetry, geometry and an unexpectedly architectural form. The familiar becomes unfamiliar when the surface is taken away.Produced on authentic medical imaging film, BUTTERFLY uses density and transparency instead of colour.
