The yellow traces of bubble gaze make this piece special. I made this one of a kind sculpture by hand, shaping it out of stoneware clay. I glazed it with a white glossy glaze and fired it to 1240 degrees Celsius.

Handmade functional tableware and funky sculptural ceramics

Inspired by the waves of the ocean and the textures of the coastline, I throw my pieces on the pottery wheel and then alter them using hand building techniques. I like to experiment with shapes and I develop my own glazes. Opening the kiln after the firing is always thrilling because only then you know if your idea worked out.

Nicole is such a talented artist and provided amazing customer service. She went above and beyond by finding a bulb that is adaptable within U.S. standards and her ceramic lamp wonderfully completes my space.
