Custom Hand Dyed Textile Art Wall Hangings

Krissy is a fibre artist based in Queensland Australia.
Since establishing Wallflowers Hanging Art in 2017, she has developed her technique and style, applying dye to yarn to create textile landscapes and contemporary fibre art. Scenes rich in colour and light are at the heart of her work, with the surrounding environment an endless source of inspiration.

Her work is held in collections across Australia and internationally, particularly in the United States, and has been displayed at exhibitions and boutique showrooms in Melbourne. In 2026, she was selected as a finalist in the Sunshine Coast Local Contemporary Art Prize, where her work was exhibited and purchased by a private collector. She continues to produce commissioned artworks for interior designers and private collectors worldwide.

Through colour and texture, she aims to create pieces that feel meaningful, evoking memory while bringing a calm, reflective presence to a space.

I just received the wall hanging and it's beautiful. Communication has been excellent all the way from order through delivery. Can't wait to hang it! Looks just as pictured in the listing. Highly recommend Wallflowers Hanging Art and look forward to buying from her again.

Our "Desert Pea" wallhanging is absolutely beautiful! We wanted something different and colorful and we sure got it! Dealing with artist Krissy was a pleasure. She communicated quickly and easily, making our requested changes with no problems whatsoever and the piece is stunning! Turnaround time was only a few weeks, despite coming all the way from Australia, and shipping was a breeze. I would highly recommend Wallflowers Hanging Art...you won't be disappointed!!

We’re so glad we found this wall hanging. We’d been waiting for three years to find just the right art to go over our stairwell. It wasn’t easy to install because of the stairs but it was so worth it. We requested some certain colors to reflect the colors of the sunrise we see here and they were duplicated perfectly.

We are so happy with our wallhanging. We had some special requests as to color and placement and it is exactly as we were hoping. It hangs in our stairwell and we can now see it from our top floor instead of a blank wall. It was the best decision ever!
