DESCRIPTION:
Be the life of the party ALL the time with this extremely elegant, yet modern crystal beaded starburst lighting fixture that glows with sophistication and pristine style. In addition to its extensively detailed design, there is also a huge celestial and space-oriented inspiration for this piece. The inspiration for it came from Wallace K. Harrison, the architect of the Metropolitan Opera House when he gave the designers of the original Sputnik, pictures of the galaxy. If that's not stellar, I don't know what is. The original Sputniks are one of the most recognizable features of the opera house, and it's said that you can even see them through the windows from the outside
