"Bauhaus, Stool, Minimalist Design, Form follows function, Coffee Table, Side Table, Nightstand"
I am working and producing this stool in my workshop here in New England. An homage to the "Ulmer Hocker", designed in 1955 by Max Bill and Hans Gugelot for the influential design university "Hochschule für Gestaltung Ulm".

A stool/bookshelf/side table/night stand (depending on the way you'll use it). This stool is known in the design world and has become an icon. It is easy, simple, minimalist with a maximum of versatility.

It was used as the basic equipment to students at the "HfG Ulm" to shelve their textbooks (sideways), carry their books to class (handle up), and sit upon in class (stool up). Space-saving, thoughtful, affordable, minimalist—a brilliant design.

I hope you'll enjoy this stool as much as I do. If you are interested and want to own one, I'll take your order ;-). Allow for a couple of weeks processing time, they are custom made to order, just for you.
