"Contemporary artist, minimal but made with heart."
Hi! I was Born in Boston, MA. raised in Los Angles, CA. graduated from UCSB before moving to NYC for a few years. Currently I live and work in Venice, CA. My goal as an artist is to make paintings that people relate to on an emotional level hopefully giving the chance for the viewer to have a heartfelt moment. I work with poems that I write as well as making paintings giving homage to songs that frequently are emotionally charged, along with other heartfelt subject matter.
How do your pieces come to life? Tell us one interesting thing about your creative process?
"I don't treat things too precious while they are in my studio and can spend a lot of time exploring ideas just to paint them away at the end of a day's work."

Q&A
What funny moments, unexpected surprises, or obstacles have you encountered?
"Being asked to match a 6x5 foot painting I was working on to the color of a low quality jpeg of a teapot was a bit of an obstacle. It all worked out but felt like a ridiculous request by the collector's decorator!"
