OUR PRODUCTS -- IN STOCK & MADE TO ORDER
- We offer most of our products on a made-to-order basis because we believe it is a more sustainable practice.
- We typically carry stock of our petite Best Seller, the Simple Stool & Plant Stand in the 18" Height. However, we do rotate through our color selection. If the color of your choice is not in stock in the 18" and/or 24", we will make this to order for up to a 12 day lead time until ship date.
- When our hardwood furniture pieces are in stock, availability is very limited! So if you are on a tight timeline and see something you love, don't sleep on it for long.
SHIPPING
- We ship our furniture throughout the US, from Hawai'i to New York. We currently do not ship internationally.
- All of our work ships from Santa Cruz county, California, where we make everything!
- Some products ship flat, ready for assembly upon arrival -- like the Kamehana Desk and our Simple Stool & Plant Stand.
- For fully joined products, we crate or palletize to properly protect the pieces during shipment.
- Shipping method & partner may vary dependent on your location. If you have a particular request or limitation, please send us a message.
BACK TO THE BEGINNING
We're celebrating FIVE years of JOHI! Founded in 2019, we launched in Maui, Hawai'i creating small batches of home decor & furniture, surf products, and bespoke furniture. We regularly worked with local island hardwoods like Monkeypod and Mango, in addition to American hardwoods. Our workshop was in a retired pineapple hangar in the small town of Hāli'imaile, Maui. There, we worked with residential and commercial clients on Maui and O'ahu. In 2020, we made the jump from Hawai'i to California.
Nowadays, we are a team of four in a 4,300 square-foot facility. With high-quality machinery and attention to system-oriented product design, our capabilities have grown tenfold.
