"Abstract Coastal Paintings, Landscapes and Cloud Art"

I always loved to paint, and after obtaining a Bachelor Degree in Interior Design, I spent the first years out of school painting murals and decorative paint finishes in clients' homes.
Once I pursued a career in Interior Design in the Washington, DC metro area and Alexandria, Virginia, I continued to paint, and occasionally painted commissioned pieces for my design projects.
My love of painting brought me back to creating full time several years ago, and I decided to bring some of my art to you.
Every painting you find here is an original, created solely to provide you with a sense of serenity and joy. I am inspired daily by the beauty of the ocean close by, the dramatic cloudscape and sunrises above, and the calmness of nature around me. My work ranges from purely abstract to more transitional, but always includes the organic aspects of the natural landscape, including raised texture in some of my paintings. I work in my studio in beautiful Millsboro, Delaware where we relocated in fall of 2022 to live closer to the ocean.
