Astier de Villatte was founded in 1996 by Ivan Pericoli and Benoit Astier de Villatte and it is today one of the leading ateliers perpetuating the ceramic Parisian craftsmanship of the 18th century. In 2016. they opened its second store at 16, Rue de Tournon in an ancient library with cube-printed tiling. In the back, stained-glass windows are signed by painter Pierre Carron, famous for his work at Orléans Cathedral and facades that are so dark green they’re almost black.
