The Ashland is a 53-story tower, at 250 Ashland Place in Fort Greene, has 304 market-rate units and 282 affordable units, ranging from studios to three-bedrooms. The ground floor of the building is known as the Gotham Market at the Ashland. It includes seven eating and drinking places, as well as a pop-up space that occupied by a rotating list of chefs and restaurateurs. A bar serving craft beer, cocktails and other libations are in the center of the 17,000-square-foot space, which will have about 300 seats. The tower’s facade weaves in columns and rows of purple, brown and limestone-colored brick with glass.
