"I make functional, affordable pottery focusing on traditional wheel-thrown forms: mugs, cups, bowls, plates, pitchers, vases and many other shapes."
My interest in clay began in the early 1990s while working in the studio of potter Dominic Mosca. After several years as a student, and eventually instructor, what began as a hobby developed into a passion. In the spring of 2001 my wife, Renée, and I moved to Door County, WI and opened TR Pottery LLC. I make the pots and Renée runs the business end of things. I am proud to say that my pots are still thrown by hand, one at a time. I make traditional shapes with clean lines that feel good to hold and function as they should.
