Third Hand Studios is a husband and wife team in the Sierra Nevada foothills of California. William is a lover of trees and harvests most of the wood he turns from around their home, thus giving each tree a second life as a bowl, cup, or vase. Hilary likes to play in the mud and throws most of her pottery on the wheel. Both enjoy creating artwork out of natural materials and they take inspiration from our Mother Earth and her many landscapes, giving credence to each material's unique shape and form.
