Graffiti artist Chris Chanyang Shim, a.k.a. Royyal Dog, creates large-scale paintings that bring harmony between cultures.
Bridging East and West, Royyal Dog is best known for his photorealistic spray paintings of Western women in traditional Korean hanbok dresses. His hanbok works and paintings of iconic rappers have been featured in POW! WOW! mural festivals and the Korean Presidential Residence in Seoul, as well as walls in New York, Los Angeles, Seoul, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami, Cincinnati, Lansing, and Israel. Royyal Dog is also known for his mural of Kobe Bryant in the Downtown Los Angeles Arts District, which has appeared in publications around the world.
