After seven and a half years working with stocks and bonds at a desk, I made a change. I entered a new world of design and craftsmanship and challenge. I spent a year in England at a school for fine furniture makers where they taught me about 0.25mm tolerances and exacting precision that I never knew existed in the world of woodworking. At the end of my year abroad, I returned to the states to find myself in a workshop in Hoboken, New Jersey. I spent five years making pieces for Kalle Fauset, of Moss Fauset woodworking. Moss Fauset has 20+ years of experience making high-end residential furniture for top clients in the New York City area.
In 2014, I moved to Oakland, California to open up my own shop to share with other woodworkers and designers.
