Nina Nolte, born in El Salvador, daughter of German parents, has been represented in galleries and art fairs worldwide since 1991.
A camera is her constant companion. Very early she used her photographs as a basis for her compositions and later artworks of the series „THE BEST IS YET TO COME“ (her glamorous middle-aged turban ladies women), “POOL PAINTINGS” (summer fun under water) and her innumerable portraits.
Two years ago she discovered digital art, in which her skills in painting, photography and screen printing - perfected over thirty years - complement each other and lead to new and exciting artworks. Nolte is currently working on four 150 x 150 cm (59 x 59”) size artworks for the Berlin Mall Quartier 205.
Here new mediums are AluDibond, large-format ceramic plates for indoor and exterior use or the bodies of cult vehicles and luxury cars.
In 2018 she participated in the exhibition STRONG WOMEN in MAC Museum in Singen/ Germany. The exhibition banner showed her artwork as well as the banner of the exhibition POPSOMMER in 2017, where her Limited Edition rubbed shoulders with other limited works by world-famous Pop Art artists: Roy Lichtenstein, Jeff Koons, Niki de Saint Phalle, Takashi Murakami, Christo and Mel Ramos.
In 2012 Nina Nolte won working scholarships for Paris and Harlösa/Sweden. One of her artworks was nominated for the Worpswede Art Prize in 2017.
Nina Nolte is a member of Rainforest Art Foundation, Europe.
Sponsors of their exhibitions are companies like Mercedes Benz, Lufthansa and Hispano Commerzbank.
