Myint Design is a nimble and spirited design studio located in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco.
Myint Design has been translating ideas into communications with compelling visual and verbal narratives for over a decade. Equally intuitive and rigorous in approach, the thoughtful design process captures unique strengths, shapes images and crafts brands that are both compelling and authentic. Working across the realms of print, digital and environmental design, they focus on lifestyle products and services, their clients range from boutique food and wine groups to prominent national brands.
Prior to opening her studio in 2002, Karin Myint held positions at Apple Computer and the studio of Primo Angeli, one of San Francisco’s pre-eminent package design firms. She further refined her design skills while working at Alterpop and Vanderbyl Design, both internationally recognized multi-disciplinary design studios. As senior designer at Vanderbyl Design, she managed projects for prominent furniture, fashion and textile clients, as well as cultural and educational institutions. Karin received a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at the University of Oregon before returning to San Francisco to pursue her design career. Today, in addition to leading her design studio, Karin teaches at California College of the Arts (CCA) in the Graphic Design program.
