My name is Kat, and I am the owner and designer behind Luna & Black. I started this business journey two short years ago, and I feel like it's grown so much since!
I am a mama of two in the Denver central area. I spend most of my days home with my little guys but also work part-time at a science museum and trendy vintage shop. I find a lot of inspiration from my own personal experiences, and find even more from nature in this beautiful state. I am originally from Minnesota, where I grew up off the Mississippi, so I feel super drawn to water and it's constantly changing.
I'm incredibly morbid (I can't help it), macabre seems like second nature. I have a deep-rooted passion for death care/the science pertaining to afterlife. I have the intent to go back to school and get a degree in forensic anthropology, but right now I'm focusing on the sweet time with my little boys.
