"Visual story telling and attention to detail is my impetus in my over thirty-year career as a designer and continues to be the driving force in my work. My passion lies not only in the execution of a painting but in the research and design to create the visual statement. My background in architecture and design, passion for travel, study of ethnic cultures, and ongoing interest in botany, influences my creative process. After working in a variety of mediums, the rhythm and lyrical nature of watercolor, captivates me like no other. I love the flow of pigment suspended in water, over a beautiful sheet of paper. It inspires me to push the limits of the medium to create, bold, dynamic stories."
