Jonathan Hils is a sculptor living in Norman, OK. He's completed numerous corporate, civic, and private commissions around the world. Using both traditional and digital fabrication techniques in steel and aluminum, his work engages line, light, and volume through intricate and complex forms. His inspiration ranges from textiles, organic systems, mathematics, structural membranes, and decorative patterns. Many of his works focus on a simple idea of being able to see through the pieces and how space opens and compresses as the viewer moves around, and sometimes through, the work.
