Providing a visual diary of my personal journey through life, inspirations, and influences is my mission behind my art. My art is meant to tell a story of the good, bad, and the ugly issues and that matter most to me.
Originally from Dayton, OH, i have been expanding my painting career from the US to Mexico, Italy, and France. I studied fine art and fashion design at the University of Cincinnati, OH. I transitioned to Los Angeles and attended the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), where i studied Apparel Manufacturing Management. I held a career as a fashion designer in Los Angeles for 3 years and decided to go back to my first love, painting, and gave everything i had to live as a painter.
Over the last year and a half i uprooted myself from the US and drove down to Tulum, Mexico where i have been creating murals and paintings. My eyes have been opened to so many incredible experiences and people, as well as some of the ugly truths in life. Being enchanted with the Mayan culture, i emerged myself deeply in their history and became close with Mayan families in the area, inspiring many of my murals. I have learned so much about the culture, history, and their hardships living in a now growing tourist ridden city. My mission was to give them a voice and paint murals depicting these gracious families, as well as painting images to bring awareness to deforestation. My main goal is to paint for positive impact and help preserve the lands and the animals who call it home.
My journey recently led me to Italy and France painting murals and creating paintings for Memorie Urbane in Italy, and Street Art City in France. You can view my art in Dayton, OH, Atlanta, GA, Flint, MI, Tulum, Mexico, Fondi & Isernia, Italy, and Lurcy-Levis, France.
As a muralist, it is my duty and goal to help provide communities with positive artwork and give everyone an opportunity to access art.
