Eleanor lives and works in her midtown Toronto studio. She has been painting professionally for over 30 years. Her work has embraced many different series, landscape, urban scapes, figurative, still life and florals. She has a unique style, with a colorful palette. Her many layers of transparent acrylic glazes give each painting a glow and a vibrancy. Her vision is to find images with universal themes that we can all relate to, sharing our same experiences regardless of age or geography. Eleanor finds people-watching fascinating, and paints images of crowds and of people in the landscape; walking, talking, holding hands, walking the dog.
