Cori Maass is the artist behind Coral Monday. Her works are a reflection of her internal processing of emotions and the connectedness of the surrounding world.
She currently splits her time between Los Angeles, California and Atlanta, Georgia. Cori originally started as a designer in branding and created Coral Monday as a way to connect with others from a more personal place.
She is inspired by duality, connections and relationships, the human experience and the intricacies of emotions and how they relate to the world around her. She uses lines, shapes, and words to communicate her observations and processings.
Cori has had the opportunity to design for brands like Free People, tokyobike (coming soon), and LA Design Fest. Hundreds of people around the world have her work tattooed on their bodies, and she has been working with Joey Hill (a Los Angeles based single-needle tattoo artist) to pop-up around the country inking her designs. She currently has work in shops in Los Angeles and Atlanta and sells her prints and other products online.
