I am a momma to 2 kiddos and spouse to my college sweetheart. An engineer turned self-taught artist, I am based in Rochester, NY and live for the spring and fall seasons.
Since I was a child, I was drawn to art. I would craft, thrift & upcycle bringing new life through the pieces that I found. Now as a spouse & momma, it is my therapy – a way to express myself and connect with others.
I often get asked – “Why flowers?” and with a smile, I describe how I would love to fill my house with fresh flowers each day. Isn’t that the dream?
I love the reminders that flowers hold. Flowers show the arrival of spring. They represent birth months. We carry them in our weddings, they adorn our celebrations and we offer them to honor the memory of a loved one. Flowers remind me that beauty is in the details. It is in the imperfect bend of a petal or the delicate tear in a leaf. It is in the hidden meaning and significance.
Each blossom is unique. Their beauty is perfectly imperfect. Their purpose is significant. The joy they bring is radiant.
Flowers are like each one of us -
Unique. Imperfect. Significant. Radiant.
