Carnevale Studio’s designs combine new materials with unusual processes. We strive to make work that is engaging and delightful.
We produce furniture, lighting, interiors and accessories, working with manufacturers, interior designers and galleries around the world.
Trained in industrial design at the Rhode Island School of Design, Jessica Carnevale launched her studio at Salone del Mobile in 2010 with a collection of neon latex chairs, The Stretch Collection.
She is happiest in the woodshop or the metal shop making prototypes, experimenting with new techniques - and each of her pieces is the result of these journeys of experimentation.
Most recently she has been working with glass and it was these experiments (making her first neon lights) that sparked an interest in taking translucent materials further. The result is a collection of acrylic tables that are delicately colored, each one playing with light in ways that surprise and delight.
Carnevale Studio interior projects can be seen within Dean Hotel restaurant, Providence Rhode Island. Bespoke bar, tables & chairs.
Her work has been featured in Vogue, The New York Times, Architectural Digest, Casa Vogue, American Craft, Elle Decoration, Living Etc, House & Garden, Time Style Magazine, L’Officiel, Wallpaper, Design Milk & Domino Magazine.
