When I was little, I built tree forts with anything I could find. I wanted to create a world that was entirely my own. Now I share that world by creating colorful and whimsical artwork in schools, parks, and other public spaces. My art practice encompasses drawing, painting, and mixed media, but it is taking the ideas I generate in 2D and scaling them up to large three dimensional sculptures that is the most exciting for me. My work uses simple repeated forms to create more complex compositions and emphasizes the value of play in our daily life.
