Arlene Penrose is a designer and LEED AP, based in Washington D.C. with more than 17 years of working experience in the design industry. She brings international experience not just to projects in D.C. but her hometown of Houston and to various endeavors overseas. After receiving her Bachelor of Interior Architecture from Boston Architectural College, her work as a designer began seventeen years ago with custom home builders and soon extended to the residential, hospitality industry, and various commercial concerns.
Arlene’s design experience expands throughout the US, UK, France, and Italy including such projects as the Jack Nicklaus golf resort hotel and the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Ireland. This diversity has enabled a development of highly effective communication skills, the capability to work with clients and stakeholders from all walks of life and the commitment to the project goals as they relate to scope, schedule, and budget. To meet the ever-changing needs of the industry, she approaches each project with an artistic, imaginative vision while incorporating cutting-edge skills in space planning and technology.
She is an award-winning interior designer and a member of the (IFDA). Her passion for travel, fashion, and historical architecture is what fuels her designs allowing her to capture the essence of effortless sophistication.
The teams most recent completed projects from construction to installation, include a 6000-square foot Mediterranean restaurant in Houston, a complete LEED build-out café in Dallas, TX and numerous private residence in Houston and D.C.
