"Untitled" is an older work, focused on detail. It is hand bent from one continuous strand of dark annealed steel wire. Pulling inspiration from modern art and street art, this graffiti-esque wall sculpture will add character to any environment. This wire sculpture portrait is meant to hang on somewhere that receives direct light - this will create the best shadows. The dark annealed steel has been treated with a rust-proof coating and is safe to place in any environment. This one of a kind original sculpture comes with a signed drawing of the piece for authenticity. Best Regards, Duncan Sherwood-Forbes

Bringing line to life

Wired Sculpture Studios is a design project by Duncan Sherwood-Forbes, a Los Angeles-based multimedia artist and designer specializing in linear metal sculpture and continuous line drawing.

Duncan uses a single flowing line to animate his abstract portraits and figurative work, pulling inspiration from modern and contemporary art as well as graffiti, craft, and outsider art. His work has been featured in galleries around the country and private collections around the world.

In Wired Sculpture Studios, Duncan brings his creative eye to a design-focused business, creating dynamic and sinuous custom steel drawings for businesses and private dwellings that activate the space through light and line. Bring your business into the modern era with Duncan's contemporary wire sculptures.
