Brian Willmont's installation in Facebook Union Square office reception area. Brian Willmont's paintings explore symbols of desire in the age of digital technology. He makes original paintings and then digitally manipulates the imagery to create identical wallpaper. A network of variation and chance is formed, connecting the hand-made and the digitally- rendered. The paintings are then hung directly at the point where their image emanates from the wallpaper, camouflaging the original; blurring the digital and analog.
