Our products focus on materials and forms that represent the human need to connect to the natural world.
Casa Botanica Design has been seen in Design Week Mexico in 2019 and is part of LaunchPad 2020/21 in NY next Spring.
While living in Mexico, we shared a love for design and wanted to pursue that passion. We found inspiration living in Baja California and farming in the tranquil town of Los Planes, a rural town southeast of La Paz. We were drawn to the historic architecture, colorful Mexican facades, hidden breeze block courtyard gardens, and expansive landscape, where the dry Baja desert meets the clear blue waters of the Sea of Cortez.
Settling at home in Arizona where the stunning Southwest desert landscape connects and mirrors the Baja vibe, Casa Botánica Design was launched with a focus on desert modern design. As an interior designer, Lindsay draws on her experience as a Design Manager for boutique hotels and resorts in Southern California, while Jorge, a native of Mexico, brings his rich Mexican heritage and time as a project manager to source and run the business in Mexico.
Casa Botánica Design collaborates with carpenters and craftspeople throughout Mexico integrating traditional crafts and new technologies. Our products focus on materials and forms that represent the human need to connect to the natural world. We believe in a cross-border collaboration between the United States and Mexico, facilitating a dynamic working relationship with their ever-emerging design community.
