Dot is a collection of containers, emphasizing the beauty and delicacy of leather. The leather sleeve gives the product warmth and tenderness, provoking the tactile sensations to feel the natural beauty of the leather.
Observing the contrasting transparency characteristics of leather and glass, Bilge Nur Saltik designed a playful pattern, that gives leather peepholes to see what is inside. A little `pee ka boo`. The geometric pattern on the rounded body leads us to focus on the diffusion of light. The idea is to play with different characters of the materials, blur them and assign them a role in between.
The collection combines hand-stitched vegetable tanned leather with glass cylinders. Dot is offered in nude and black colors and two sizes. Different sizes allow the product to be used as a vase for plants, as a base for candles as well as a storage for pens, tools, toiletries, etc.
