This is a painting is about movement, inspired by my natural surroundings in Central Texas. The botanical aspect of this work is an invitation to revel in memories of past experiences in a place where the sand, wind, sun, and burning sky toss the brush around, and where the blinding light can often trick the mind's eye into subtracting the surrounding colors from the object of our attention.
