A diptych of two, 30x40 pieces, that hung together make a 60 inch wide painting, 40 inches high. The title refers to the expression that means, "it's over" when servicemen received "Dear John" letters during the war. In this piece the meaning is mysterious and open to interpretation. Bold calligraphic marks combine with loose scribbles and drips, creating an energetic message for the viewer.
