NOW AND THEN project
a collaboration in metal and clay

Natascha Madeiski, Architect / product designer and Linnie Mclarty - silversmith / jewellery designer have joined together in a collaboration inspired by an archeological dig in the Lebanon.

The NOW AND THEN project pairs ceramics with metalwork and references elements both architectural and historic.

Madeiski's porcelain containers, and Mclarty's metal flatware unite to create an anthropomorphic series of objects which, they say, are "almost like soldiers, guarding the precious things inside."

The range consists of lidded containers in four sizes and four colour ways, each with a metal accessory. The containers are made from porcelain using the slip-casting method, and are available in white, grey, salmon and green, and each is paired with either a brass spoon, sieve, fork or handle.
