"Kelly Lamb is an L.A.-based artist and designer who is originally from Marblehead, Massachusetts. She received her BFA from Bennington College, and for more than twenty years has been working across many disciplines, including sculpture, photography, video, ceramics, furniture, product and interior design.
Lamb’s art and design aesthetic is inspired by sacred geometry and explores and expresses the concept of infinity using geometric, cosmic, and organic symbols and structures. A dynamic dialogue is created as Lamb shapes clays, woods, and metals into clean lines and angles, juxtaposing and unifying natural form and structural design.
Her KL Studios product line includes high-end furniture, decorative objects and home-ware. Her furniture is currently represented by Twentieth in Los Angeles. KL Studios products are sold on kellylamb.net and in boutiques throughout the United States. Kelly’s interior design projects include Malo Restaurant, El Prado Bar, and the green room of the Echo Nightclub, all in Los Angeles, as well as numerous private residences.
Kelly’s artwork has been exhibited internationally in museums, galleries and art fairs, including: MOCA, Los Angeles; The New Museum, NYC; The Andrea Rosen Gallery, NYC; and Art Basel, Switzerland/Miami. Her
work has been showcased and received reviews in Architectural Digest, Artforum, The Los Angeles Times and The New Yorker."
