The 'Leap' table was completed in 2019 and was a continuation of a series of designs that take the beauty of animal form, movement and strength as inspiration. This is a unique one of a kind piece.
The narrow openings connect the curved legs to the tabletop suggesting the fluid figure of an animal in motion, which can be seen from above or when seated.
– Made from scorched English oak and ebonised top surface.
– The legs are brushed to enhance the grain and flame-scorched.
– Finished with protective hard wax oil.
– My initials and maker’s number - 235 - can be found beneath the top.
